Georgia excited about depth at tight end position

Led by veteran fifth-year senior Jay Rome, the Georgia Bulldogs believe they have some of the best tight ends in the nation.

“We’re really deep right now. I feel like we can be the best out of any group that’s been here,” said Rome, via DawgNation.com.

That is high praise considering the Bulldogs history of success at the tight end position; see: NFL tight ends Benjamin Watson, Randy McMichael, and Leonard Pope.

Although the 6-foot-6, 248-pound Rome may be the emotional leader of the bunch, there is a lot of competition for who is the best.
