Scott Stricklin was hired to be the person who came in and took the Georgia Baseball team back to the top. After 11 years of David Perno, Stricklin was supposed to bring improved results. He had taken a lowly Kent State team to the College World Series in 2012. His move to UGA was supposed to be the chance for him to step up and show just how good of a coach he could be.
Georgia remains an incredibly fertile recruiting ground for baseball. but with no SEC title since 2008 and four straight losing seasons, fans are wondering when the turn around will come.
