Fox fills vacant assistant coaching spot with familiar face

Mark Fox and David Carter are coaching together again.

Fox announced Carter, who was previously an assistant at Saint Mary's, will fill the vacant assistant position job on Georgia's basketball staff. Carter replaces former Georgia assistant Yasir Rosemond, who left for a similar position at Alabama.

Carter was an assistant at Nevada during Fox's five years as the Wolf Pack's head coach. Carter then became Nevada's head coach when Fox left for Georgia in 2009.

"I am every excited to have David joining our coaching staff," Fox said. "He assisted me at the University of Nevada and I aggressively pursued him when this opportunity opened.
