Former Georgia Bulldog and NFL player Cornelius Washington is set to join Chris Peterson’s staff with the Washington Huskies. Washington played for both the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions in the NFL. Washington recorded 5.5 sacks over his NFL career and fifty-five tackles over several seasons. Washington put up incredible numbers at the NFL Combine to get drafted in the sixth round. He’ll be the Recruiting Communications Coordinator for the Huskies, who have the 17th best Class of 2020.
The Huskies have another UGA product in Jacob Eason this season. Eason is off to a hot start in 2019.
