5-Star CB Tyson Campbell Commits to Georgia over Alabama, Miami

Star cornerback Tyson Campbell will be playing his college football at Georgia starting this fall.

Radi Nabulsi of UGA Sports.com reported Campbell's decision to play for the Bulldogs.

Coming out of American Heritage High School in Florida, Campbell is a prototypical cornerback for this era of football with the height and length at 6'2 ½", 180 pounds to go along with excellent speed and instincts to attack the ball.

Campbell is a 5-star prospect who is the No. 2 cornerback recruit in the country and No. 12 player overall, per 247Sports.

After coming up just short against SEC rival Alabama in the College Football Playoff Championship Game, Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart are reloading on talent to get over that final hurdle in 2018.
