Price (6 feet 6, 311 pounds), from Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer, passed on the chance to go to college about 30 minutes from home. Instead, he will play in L.A. for new USC coach Clay Helton.
Price was recruited by Trojans wide receivers coach Tee Martin and offensive line coach Neil Callaway. Callaway is a former assistant at Auburn and Georgia. He was hired by USC in early January after spending two seasons as Western Kentucky’s offensive line coach.
