Former Georgia center David Andrews wasn’t taken in this year’s NFL Draft, but, as you’ll find below, that doesn’t mean his football career is over. Saturday night, it was reported that Andrews, who has seemingly stayed upbeat through the process, would be getting a shot with the New England Patriots. Sunday, he posted a photo of himself signing with the team as an undrafted free agent. He included a heartfelt note about how much hard work he had to put in to make it this far.
There’s certainly no guarantee that Andrews makes the team roster later this summer, but it’s great to see him at least get a shot.
