WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball squad released its 2017-18 nonconference schedule on Tuesday. The Hoyas will play three home games and seven road contests including three games in the 2017 Challenge in Music City.
“We have put together a powerful nonconference schedule to challenge and prepare our team for BIG EAST Conference play,” said Georgetown Head Coach James Howard. “I believe it’s important to play teams with postseason tournament experience, while also challenging ourselves by playing back-to-back games.”
Georgetown will face four teams that advanced to the postseason in 2017, including three NCAA Tournament qualifiers.
