Paul Caccamo (SFS ‘87 and former GUSA President) launched Up2Us Sports to provide youth with coaches to revive sports across inner-city America. The coaches are trained to mentor youth on and off the field so that sports participation leads to success in school and in life.
Since founding Up2Us Sports with the support of GU Board Chair Paul Tagliabue in 2010, Up2Us Sports has placed more than 3100 coaches across 471 youth organizations in 18 states and Washington, D.C., serving more than 630,000 young people in 28 different sports.
