Former Georgetown University men’s basketball star Patrick Ewing Jr. has joined the staff as the Director of Basketball Operations, Head Coach John Thompson III announced.
Ewing Jr. is the son of former Hoya All-American and National Basketball Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing.
“Even as a player, Patrick ‘saw’ the game through the eyes of a coach," Thompson said. “I’m very glad to have Patrick come back home and to be part of the staff.”
Following his graduation from Georgetown in 2008, Ewing Jr. was a second round pick of the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Draft and he spent time with the Houston Rockets, the New York Knicks and New Orleans Hornets.
