WASHINGTON - The opportunity to attend and play basketball at Georgetown has given Chris Wright (C’11) the chance to travel the world.
Like anyone, he had dreams of playing in the NBA. And he did get the chance, appearing for the New Orleans Hornets (2012) and Dallas Mavericks (2013). But he has found success overseas.
And for a kid from Bowie, Md., getting the chance to travel the world and play has been amazing. His basketball career has taken him from the United States to Europe and to the Middle East.
“I really love playing basketball and being able to make a living out of it,” Wright said via e-mail.
