When discussing FSU Recruits and recruiting in general it has always been noted that recruiting stars matter. In fact, the Jimbo Fisher era issued a new wave of FSU recruits that helped get the program back to elite status. If not for those elite players, Jimbo Fisher would not have a national championship under his belt, nor would he have one of the highest winning percentages in all of college football.
However, it’s those three-star recruits that Fisher and his staff find, evaluate and develop that have made a huge difference when a five-star recruit doesn’t pan out.
