For six of the last seven seasons, it has been good to be a fan of FSU football and live in the Sunshine State. Every year this decade except for 2012, the Seminoles have been state champs for coming out on top of both the hated Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators.
Like has been the story in the two rivalries, it’s hard to pinpoint what each win streak means. The ‘Noles have won seven in a row against the Hurricanes – a team that has had its struggles during this period – but five of those wins have been by five points or less.
