Some FSU football fans were beginning to question the staff a couple of weeks ago when it came to recruiting running backs.
The Noles signed three-star running back Anthony Grant in 2018 and didn’t sign one in 2019 which meant they need to land at least two for the 2020 recruiting class.
A little over a week ago the Noles hasn’t signed one yet and things were not looking up. However, visit and commitment shortly thereafter from four-star Jaylan Knighton changed everything.
In fact, long time FSU running back target Lawrance Toafili changed plans and visited the Noles with his family shortly before the dead period began.
