FSU football coach Mike Norvell wasn’t the splash hire most Nole fans wanted, but he’s certainly made a splash since being hired.
Norvell delivered a fiery speech at his introductory press conference and immediately began assembling his staff so they could hit the recruiting trails.
His first efforts consisted of contacting those players who were either committed or had been committed to FSU in the past.
FSU saw two decommitments in four-star quarterback Jeff Sims and three-star offensive lineman Alex Atcavage. However, Norvell did secure a commitment from three-star quarterback Tate Rodemaker.
