FSU Football Legacies Getting Recruited Hard By Rival Miami

In the coming years, names that may sound familiar to FSU football fans will be making a return back to the college game – names like Brooks, Samuels, Jennings and more will be making a decision about whether or not to follow in their footstep of their fathers as members of the Seminoles.

At the same time, the rival Miami Hurricanes and their new head coach, former FSU assistant coach Mark Richt, are trying real hard to flip some of those names and creating some divided homes in the Sunshine State. The Tallahassee Democrat’s Safid Deen profiled some of the players Richt and the ‘Canes are trying to flip:

Five-star cornerback Stanford Samuels III received an offer from Miami before Richt took over but became the highest-rated prospect in FSU’s 2017 recruiting class last month.
