When it comes to the major conferences in college football that make up the Power Five leagues, there is no doubt that FSU football was far and away the biggest favorite to win their conference according to members of the media. When all the numbers were tallied, over 70 percent of the media in Charlotte last week thinks the Seminoles will win the ACC in 2017.
It’s a number that hasn’t been seen in the conference for years – as Florida State comes into the season with plenty of people thinking that there is no point in playing most of the games since there are really just two teams that have a legit shot of winning the ACC…and it’s the same two teams who have won the conference the last six seasons.
