The Florida State Seminoles are fresh off their 6th ACC Tournament Title and 41st win of the season.
To no one's surprise Florida State earned a regional berth after their 36th straight season with 40 or more wins. After losing five straight games to end the regular season the Seminoles got hot and swept through the ACC tournament. En route to that conference title the Noles defeated teams with an RPI ranking of 53, 28, 23 and 12 making a strong case for a national seed and home field advantage on the way to Omaha.
The Seminoles are battling a few teams for the last two spots; Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, TCU, Missouri State are also in consideration.
