Thursday, Florida State suspended freshman QB De'Andre Johnson after an allegation that he punched a woman in a bar.
"Florida State head football coach Jimbo Fisher has announced the indefinite suspension of true freshman De’Andre Johnson for a violation of athletic department policy," Florida State's athletic department said.
Tuesday, ESPN's Mark Schlabach reported that Johnson had been charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from the incident.

It is not known whether the alleged victim wanted charges pressed, or what preceded the incident.
