This will mark the second of three games this season between the two clubs. The New York Rangers defeated the Florida Panthers, 5-2 in MSG on October 23rd. They’ll face off for the final time this season on December 8th at BB&T Center.
After starting the season 2-5-3, the Florida Panthers had won five games in a row, by an aggregate 19-7 score. That streak was brought to a close, however, in a 7-3 setback to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday.
The Panthers are playing in the third game of a season-high six-game road-trip.
