Rampage Season Ends with 2-1 Overtime Loss to Barons

The San Antonio Rampage scored the game-tying goal with 59 seconds left in regulation, but fell in overtime to the Oklahoma City Barons 2-1 in front of 7,516 at the AT&T Center on Wednesday night. The loss marks the end of the Western Conference Quarterfinals for the Rampage, as the Barons will advance in the Calder Cup Playoffs, taking the best-of-five series 3-0.

After a scoreless first period in which the Barons outshot the Rampage 16-5, Oklahoma City got the first tally of the game, as Kellen Jones converted off a Rampage turnover and beat Dan Ellis at the 18:51 mark of the middle frame.
