MIAMI (October 31, 2017) – FIU women's soccer defender Sierra Moss (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton High School) was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team on Tuesday as voted on by the league's head coaches.
"Sierra Moss has done an outstanding job for us on the defensive line," said FIU women's soccer Head Coach Sharolta Nonen. "What makes Sierra's journey unique is the fact she was recruited as a right winger (forward) but was converted to a center back during preseason due to injuries. Sierra had never played as a defender but took it upon herself to study the position and learn the ins and outs.
