INDIANAPOLIS (May 23, 2017) – Sophomore Andrea Lazaro will begin play in the 2017 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Singles Championship on Wednesday, May 24, against the University of Florida's Belinda Woolcock. First serve is set for 9:00 a.m. ET.
Lazaro is one of 64 singles players selected to take part in the championship, which will be conducted May 24-29 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia.
This will mark Lazaro's first appearance in the NCAA Championships and the third appearance by an FIU Panther in the women's individual championship.
