MIAMI (March 25, 2017) – The FIU men's and women's track and field teams recorded five top-three finishes on Saturday at the University of Miami's Hurricane Collegiate Invitational held at Cobb Stadium in Coral Gables.
On the women's side, sophomore Clarissa Cutliff logged her second-straight first-place finish taking the top spot in the high jump with a height of 1.80m. Cutliff also won the same event at the Hurricane Invitational last weekend with the same mark. Fellow classmate Kenflore Atilus took third, jumping 1.70m.
In the discus, freshman, and reigning Conference USA Field Athlete of the Week, Gabrielle Rains, took third in with a throw of 51.
