MIAMI (Nov. 29, 2016) – Head Coach Butch Davis announced on Tuesday the addition of Brent Guy to the FIU football staff. Guy will serve as the Panthers' defensive coordinator.
Guy brings to FIU over 30 years of coaching experience, including 12 as a defensive coordinator and four as a head coach. He has been a part of 13 bowl teams as both a player and coach.
"Brent Guy has a fabulous defensive background," Davis said. "He brings a ton of experience as a former head coach and defensive coordinator. He does an excellent job of building relationships with his players.
