UF position breakdown: Receivers

The upside

The good news for the receivers is that an offensive-minded head coach with a track record of putting up impressive numbers in the passing game has taken over. Wherever Jim McElwain’s been, his receivers and tight ends have been productive, so the same receivers who spent so much of their time blocking last season will now have an opportunity to catch passes and be a vital part of the offense. Demarcus Robinson showed a lot of flashes last season, catching 53 passes for 810 yards and seven touchdowns, and could have a major breakout season as the go-to guy.
