NEW YORK CITY — It’s all been a new experience for Mike White and all but one of his players. The longer-than-normal news conferences and timeouts. The practices in front of actual fans. The pressure of the big stage.
Kasey Hill had five NCAA Tournament appearances in his back pocket. Back in November when Florida was playing a Friday-Sunday doubleheader in Jacksonville to start the season, White cracked up the room when it was mentioned that it was almost like an NCAA Tournament weekend.
“I wouldn’t know,” he said.
He knows now.
