Florida coach Jim McElwain revealed more Wednesday about his plan for using two quarterbacks in the opener, saying on the SEC coaches teleconference that Treon Harris and Will Grier will not alternate every series.
McElwain said both will have a set of scripted plays they’ll run in the first part of the game.
“We’ll give them kind of those first set of plays that are going to be when they are in there,” McElwain said. “Obviously, we don’t follow the script if we get into a situational call. Both will execute their own parts of that.
