The Florida Gators have let go secondary coach Corey Raymond and defensive line coach Sean Spencer after two seasons with the Florida Gators, Gator Country learned on Monday afternoon.
Raymond, who has been in the coaching industry since 2003, found a ton of success with the LSU Tigers from 2012-2021. Florida’s hiring of Raymond was thought to be a splash hire been many in the media and college football industry. Raymond is most known for his recruiting and ability to develop first round talent.
However, things did not go as smoothly in Gainesville. After taking control of the entire secondary in 2023, Raymond’s Gators ranked 113th in coverage, according to PFF.
