January's national title game at Raymond James Stadium will have a new wrinkle - a yacht village.
The College Football Playoff and Tampa Bay Sports Commission announced the addition Monday. The Championship Yacht Village will be on the Hillsborough River outside the Tampa Convention Center and connected to the downtown Riverwalk.
"The Yacht Village brings a truly unique element to the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship festivities," Tampa Bay Sports Commission chairman Joe Collier said in a statement. "Football fans who take advantage of this offer will enjoy incredible access and hospitality to the culmination of the college football season.
