The Florida Gators recruiting efforts were turned up on receiver Freddie Swain (6-1, 174, Citra, FL North Marion) this summer and on Friday he made commitment number 21 for the Florida Gators.
“I’m committing to the University of Florida,” Swain said.
Swain who dominated the summer camp circuits including The Opening event sponsored by Nike in Oregon this past summer, really peeked the Gators interest with his play.
Before the Florida Gators recruiting efforts were turned, Swain was leaning towards the Tennessee Volunteers, but once the Gators started recruiting him hard, Swain was a lean to the Gators and chose Florida over Tennessee, USC and others on Friday due in large part to early playing time in Gainesville.
