University of Florida police have filed a sworn complaint against place-kicker Eddy Pineiro alleging misdemeanor property damage and criminal mischief for damaging two scooters on campus last month.
According to the UPD complaint, which was filed Nov. 7, Pineiro pushed over two scooters next to his in the East-West scooter parking lot Oct. 7. He damaged the scooters by kicking them and ripping off side mirrors. Damage is estimated at $800.
According to the report, witnesses saw the Gators kicker damage the scooters, and he later admitted to police that he had.
After a sworn complaint is filed, prosecutors review the case to determine whether charges should be filed.
