The Florida Gators landed the 15th commitment to the 2017 recruiting class Friday when New Jersey defensive tackle Fred Hansard committed to UF via his Twitter account with a video link.
The video, produced by BleacherReport.com, shows Hansard rolling through New York City in a taxi until he eventually crosses back over the Hudson River, asks the taxi driver to pull over and, with the NYC skyline in the background, holds up his hands with Gators gloves on and says, "Go Gators."
Hansard, a 6-foot-3, 305 pounder from The Hun School in Princeton, N.J., is the third defensive tackle and fourth defensive lineman to commit to the Gators 2017 class.
