The madness in college basketball is still a month away.
The postseason push for coach Mike White’s team effectively begins with the start of February, beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday when No. 7 Kentucky visits a sold-out O’Connell Center.
Too little offense in crunch time and too many close losses have put the Gators (12-8, 4-3 SEC) in a must-win situation pretty much every game going forward if UF hopes to make a third straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
But wins could be tough to come by during the coming weeks as the strength of the Gators’ schedule intensifies.
