Gators recruiting class on the move after commitment of Mohamoud Diabate

The Florida Gators received good news on the 2019 recruiting trail Wednesday night when four-star linebacker Mohamoud Diabate announced his intentions to head to Gainesville. Diabate, (6-foot-3, 215 pounds) from Auburn (AL) High, is considered to be among the top 10 outside linebackers in the country and is also ranked among the top 150 overall prospects nationally in the class of 2019.

Diabate committed to Florida over numerous other offers including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, LSU and Michigan. The commitment of Diabate continues a string of recent recruiting success for Florida.

Diabate is the sixth commitment for the Gators since June 1 and he is also the fourth prospect to commit to Florida in that time frame who is considered to be among the top 375 recruits in the country by 247sports.
