Starting middle linebacker and team leader Jarrad Davis, who sprained his ankle two weeks ago in the win over Missouri, returned to practice Wednesday on a limited basis. It will be a game-time decision whether he plays in Saturday’s game against Georgia, UF coach Jim McElwain said.

“Obviously, that will be one of those that it’s got to be right with him, got to be right with the doctors. We’ll see. Kind of game time,” McElwain said. “It was really uplifting to the team to have him out there today and seeing him go through some things in some of the segments of practice, especially in the third-down stuff we did in the red area and during all the non-contact skel drills and that kind of stuff.
