Despite the fact that his father, Kelly Gibson, and his uncle, Chris Gibson, both played at UF, the offer from Gators coach Dan Mullen Tuesday was just one of many for the younger Gibson.
“It definitely feels really good. It’s the same place that my dad played at and my family went to,” Gibson said. “It’s a team that I watched for a long time and I’m glad that they see something in me that they thought to invest in me.”
