With Florida in position to win the SEC East and its debut at No. 10 in this year’s College Football Playoff rankings, there’s a lot of buzz surrounding the football program.
UF coach Jim McElwain has spoken to his players about handling the outside noise, but not necessarily avoiding it.
“Well, I kind of tell them. I don’t downplay it because it’s there,” McElwain said. “And yet, they should be excited about some of the noise that they’re making. But I think the most important thing is just realizing what created the noise.
