Earlier this week, the Golden Nugget Sportsbook in Las Vegas had Florida listed as a three point underdog against Michigan in its season opening game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Days later, the Wolverines have risen all the way up to a five point favorite, a large jump over such a short period of time.

With the point spread being “bet up” from three points to five in a matter of days, that means a vast majority of the money being bet on the game has come in on the Michigan side, forcing the Golden Nugget to raise the point spread in the hopes of having equal betting on both teams.
