Cornerback Jayvaughn Myers (6-1, 175, Dade City, FL Pasco) made news on Tuesday morning when he decided to make his commitment to the Florida Gators over the Auburn Tigers and Florida State Seminoles.
Florida has long been the favorite for Myers but it was the timing that shocked many people in Gator Nation but Myers says the time was just right for him.
“It was a special day for me when I committed to Florida yesterday [Tuesday],” Myers said. “I’ve always wanted to be a Gator. I’ve just thinking about everything and I felt it was time to do it so I called the coaches.
