BATON ROUGE, La. – Cassie Peoples scored a season and game-high 22 points and Florida defeated LSU, 82-56, in its final regular-season road game of the season played at the Maravich Assembly Center Thursday evening.
Florida, which won in Baton Rouge for just the fifth time in program history, swept the two-game season series against the Tigers.
The Gators also took the low-scoring affair against the Tigers, 53-45, on January 17 in Gainesville. The 53 points remains Florida’s fewest points scored this year in a game.
