Florida Gators to be without Mason Halter, Anthony Harrell in Citrus Bowl

Florida's depth at offensive line took a hit Sunday when the Gators announced starting RT Mason Halter will not participate in the Citrus Bowl because of academic reasons.

Halter, a Fordham transfer, had been one of the bright spots on an inexperienced unit. Freshman Fred Johnson will be a candidate to start in his place in the Jan. 1 bowl game against Michigan.

UF will also be without LB Anthony Harrell due to academic reasons. The Tampa native and Georgia Tech transfer contributed on special teams.
