Florida Gators freshman standout Antonio Callaway is questionable for the Florida-Georgia game this Saturday after sustaining a foot injury on Wednesday during practice.
Addressing the media following Wednesday’s practice McElwain said that Callaway injured the foot during practice but that it was “too early to tell” if Callaway would be able to play this weekend.
The Booker T. Washington product has already established himself as not only the Gators’ most reliable receiver, but also a big play waiting to happen on offense and on special teams.
Callaway has 16 receptions for 308 yards and two touchdowns on the season, one of them coming in spectacular fashion against Tennessee in the fourth quarter.
