Jenkins arrived in Gainesville as one of the top-rated cornerbacks in the country, a key piece of Urban Meyer’s 2008 recruiting class. Defensive backs coach Vance Bedford gave him the nickname Jackrabbit early that season because of the way he was always running around on the field without really knowing what to do.
