Head basketball coach Mike White added another talented prospect to Florida’s 2017 recruiting class.
Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy four-star guard/forward DeAundrae Ballard verbally committed to Florida on Monday night. The 6-foot-6, 170-pound Ballard is listed as the 58th-best overall prospect in the 2017 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Both of Florida’s 2017 commits are top 60 prospects, as Ballard joined four-star guard Shai Alexander in the Gators’ class.
