Myers, a standout cornerback from Dade City (Fla.) Pasco, received his “dream offer” from Florida and committed to the Gators before the season. Florida went on to win 10 games and the SEC East title, and will play for the conference championship on Saturday.
But Myers (6 feet 1, 188 pounds), a consensus four-star recruit, backed off his UF commitment Monday.
