Florida fired head coach Will Muschamp Sunday morning just a day after the Gators lost 23-20 to South Carolina in overtime.
Muschamp had a 27-20 record with Florida during his nearly four seasons at the helm. He released this statement after his firing:
Florida's next game is Saturday against Eastern Kentucky before closing their season against in-state rival Florida State on Novemer 29.
