Report: Florida Has Offered Coaching Job To Ole Miss' Hugh Freeze

Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze has received an offer from Florida to replace Will Muschamp and is weighing his options, according to SBNation.

The Gators have reportedly offered Freeze a contract in the range of $4.2 and $4.3 million a season.

Ole Miss has been pursuing a contract extension with Freeze over the past few weeks that would raise his current $3 million salary to what Florida is offering.

Freeze led the No. 14 Rebels to a 9-3 record this season, and is 24-14 in three seasons at Ole Miss. He addressed Florida rumors following his squad's 31-17 victory over in-state rival Mississippi State on Saturday, and said he hadn't had any conversations with anyone other than Ole Miss.
