After starting at cornerback in his freshman and sophomore seasons, Mills was moved to safety, where he has emerged as an elite defensive player and playmaker. He heads into the 2015 season with more career starts (39) than any other LSU defensive player.
In his first year as a starter at safety, Mills was all over the field last season, recording 62 tackles, three tackles for loss, five pass break-ups and one interception.
