GAINESVILLE — Billy Donovan is gone to the NBA, but in the lobby of the UF basketball practice complex, it is like the iconic coach never left.
Donovan's image and list of accomplishments cover an entire wall. A trophy case across the room features the hardware from two national titles, four Final Fours and six SEC titles during Donovan's tenure with the Gators.
New coach Mike White enters the building each day and is enveloped by Donovan's shadow. Yet, White quickly has won over his new players and set the tone for a new era.
